Do you have a source for this info? On the website, the eligibility is:
• be an Indian citizen or hold an OCI card
• be 30 years old or younger at the time of application
• be currently enrolled or have completed studies at an Indian institution of higher education. Applicants with a degree from a foreign institution are eligible, but preference will be given to those who have completed their education from an Indian institution.
• ensure that the course takes place in France. If part of the course (one semester or more) takes place in another country, the scholarship will not cover that period
• knowledge of French is an asset, but not mandatory to apply for the scholarship
• the scholarship is available for full-time master’s degree programs. Students participating in semester exchange programmes, internships or research projects are not eligible to apply
• students already pursuing a master’s in France can apply for funding for the second year
• have applied for admission to a French institution prior to applying for the scholarship. For admission procedure, please contact your nearest
https://www.inde.campusfrance.org/campu ... e-near-you or refer to the website of the institution of your choice.
This doesn't say that one should have an acceptance at the time of application (the last point)
> Let me clarify this :
> If you haven’t received the official letter of admission but only have the mail of acceptance you can apply for it
> OR
> If the school is in the process and somehow communicated to you that you have an admit via mail
> Without any of these conditions your admission to the school is not confirmed and Charpak will not accept it
This information is given to me by my friends who got the Charpak last year..one had an offer letter and another was waiting for the letter from school (she only received the email not the letter from the registrar’s signature and stamp at the time of submission)
