Was planning to apply to Cornell Tech MBA Round 1 but I wasn't aware that I needed my educational credentials to be evaluated by WES US and that TOEFL is required for my Country(India) irrespective of the medium of Instruction in the past :(

About TOEFL, this is only true if you did not have your undergraduate course taught in english.

Now about the evaluation by WES US, I believe that it is only if you are admitted. For application purposes you may use a certified/authorized translator (with original seal).

I had to specifically reread all the Instructions after going through your response. Below is what I could find:
For WES : The admissions committee requires this evaluation prior to reviewing your application for an admissions decision.
For TOEFL/IELTS : At the time you enroll at Cornell, you have studied in full-time status for at least two academic years within the last five years in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand, or with English language instruction in Canada or South Africa. Even if English was the language of instruction at your school, if you did not study in one of these countries you are not exempt from the requirement.

Cornell Tech is not a rolling application. Cornell tech adcoms are proof checking application contents of R1 round. One of my friend applied on Oct-12( R1 deadline day). He didn't submit WES while submitting application. Yesterday, he received email from adcom to upload WES results to application.

So you don't worry, we have to still wait for another week to hear from Cornell.

Yes, unfortunately Cornell Tech requires our Educational Credentials evaluated by WES or other agencies as part of the application itself. I have submitted my application during R1 and informed that I have already applied for WES(should take another week for my credentials to be evaluated and sent to Cornell).
My Medium of Instruction during Undergrad was English.

I was reading last year's topics from Cornell Tech and seems like they applied on October 8th and the first interview call reported was on October 16th. I was assuming that they would start calling around 8 days after application this year too, which would mean today.

Yeah thats what I gathered from last year's forum as well - maybe because there were many more applicants this year than last year as the pandemic situation is getting better over in the US? Hopefully we will hear back by end of this week

Did you already get your educational credentials evaluated by WES?

I am currently in the process of getting my credentials evaluated and obtaining a Medium of Instruction certificate from my university(although I have studied in English) so that I get a waiver for TOEFL/IELTS.
