5 out of the seven of us worked full time all four years. Two of us work at crypto startups based in NYC that have notable Cornell alum and professors. One of us works at Google in product for VR. One works as a quantitative trader in the Bay for a startup. And the other has been working at his family’s biotech company as a partnerships associate. I guess they just don’t consider that as credible work experience 🤷🏽
Posted from my mobile device This is absolutely insane... With +3.8 GPAs & no interview invite? Competition has to be INSANELY steep this year.

Which sucks because we all wanted to pursue Cornell tech and have friendship squad energy going into grad school, but I guess we can’t always get what we need 🫠
Sorry to hear, man @snayf. There’s definitely a "more fitting" opportunity on all of your horizons that the Universe is conspiring to arrange behind the scenes.
I was pretty humbled & surprised this year myself: I didn’t receive an invite to interview for Stern Tech this year, even as a former MS student at NYU with what I believe to be a very strong entrepreneurial tech profile.
Some say admissions is truly a black box at times -- I certainly have seen many "edge cases" that really just make me scratch my head.
Anyways, I am sure there’s another golden opportunity coming on all of your individual horizons.
