On the 1st application page (where we create the login id) I chose my area of interest as Financial Consulting. Is there any way I can change it to Management??? I cant find any option to edit this once my id is registered. Should I make another id? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Although I can't speak for your exact situation, Cox may be a great fit. Cox is very different from U Rochester and U Toronto. If you visited the campuses you probably noticed that SMU is smaller and more intimate whereas U Toronto is huge and U Rochester is considerably larger than SMU.

Also, SMU is the best school in Dallas and as such opens a lot of doors in Dallas. The other two schools are great especially if you want to live in the Great Lakes region post MBA. However, there is less opportunity in upstate NY, MI, Ontario, Ohio, and PA than there is in Texas.

However, the NY Fingerlakes are beautiful and Toronto is a great world city. Dallas is a great livable city but doesn't have the beauty of upstate NY nor the cosmopolitan feel of Toronto.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but as someone from the Great Lakes Region who moved to Texas for work opportunity, I'd choose SMU especially with the scholarship you earned.

Decisions, decision!

I agree with the above poster. Plus, see which schools connects better with your short term goals. SMU is no doubt good in finance. But, Simon is equally good in finance with just a 3 hour drive away from NYC (finance hub).

So, if you could share your short term goals - then probably people can help you decide easily. And, $$ plays a vital role in deciding colleges especially for an international applicant.

Btw, I got an interview invite for Jan 17 with John. Cox being my first interview, I'm dead nervous. Could anybody share his/her experience.

Thanks.
