Hi Aditya,
Perfectly said that "busy working professionals do not get the momentum to start the prep" even if they get the best of the training materials. As a student from the 1st batch of "Crackverbal Achiever's club Workshop - Mumbai Chapter", I would like to share my feedback and takeaways
How did I Select Crackverbal's Online Course? After doing my own evaluation on GMAT Prep institutes by watching their free videos on youtube and purely going by the quality of content provided in those videos, I decided to take up Crackverbal's online course in Feb of this year. I must say the quality of content in your online videos is fabulous. The concepts, tips, and approach are presented in such a simple manner that someone, who has been weak in Maths and English in school days, would be able to master the concepts very well and more importantly, apply the concepts on typical GMAT questions. The focus on the videos is purely on "applying the concepts on GMAT type of questions" and
I would like to give 10/10 to the "Content creation team of Crackverbal" Crackverbal Masterclass Workshop - Mumbai In the month of May this year, I came to know about
Crackerbal's Masterclass Workshop - Mumbai. Since it was happening in Mumbai, I enquired about it and eventually enrolled for the same. The workshop, spread across 12 weeks, was divided into
7 phases (Diagnostic, Pre-Work, Masterclass for Verbal & Quant, Improvement Prep Cycle, Advanced masterclass, Optimization Prep-Cycle, Test Day Sprint) spread across 12 weeks, and I must give 10/10 to the curators (Arun and Aditya) who designed this whole workshop.
Since there were some free weekends between the workshops so that we could cope up with the study plan, these workshops were supported by live online classes, conducted by Arvind for quants and Matoo for Verbal.
These live sessions ensured two things: 1 - All your doubts get cleared during the same week and 2 - You don't lose the momentum. If I have to mention the
USP of the workshop, the batch size was only 10-12 students, hence a lot of emphases was given on the progress of each one of us. The entire workshop was conducted with the aim to bring out the best of crackverbal's experience for so many years and deliver a fine-class content in a very personalized learning environment.
Takeaways from Verbal MasterclassIt was one of a kind learning journey for me personally. I could never learn English grammar even from my school teacher, the way I learned from Arun. Verbal has always been a weak section for most of us, since its not our first language, and answering sentence correction with "What sounds right to our ears" is probably the trickiest part in GMAT. The Verbal class of the workshop was brilliantly made in such a way that we build the logic (grammar and concision), and eliminate the answer choices that are 100% wrong. And with advanced verbal class, it became easy for us to find the errors through logic and grammar. A very similar approach was taken for CR as well as RC.
Takeaways from Quants MasterclassI have seen a lot of online videos on quants and I do have respect for all the quants faculties who put in a lot of efforts to teach the toughest subject (for most of us) of our lives, but the way Aditya took the entire Quants Masterclass was a masterpiece. Heard of "Maths made fun, maths made easy, Start loving maths" etc? Yes, I did start loving maths after the quants workshop. The way we learned how to tackle GMAT questions, was so logical. The first 4 sessions (35-40 Hours) were purely on building a very strong conceptual logic on each topic. The next 3 sessions (30-35 Hours) were on how to apply these logics on GMAT questions.
The best part of the entire workshop was, we did hundreds of official questions and spent a very good amount of time on analyzing each question. I think crackverbal team has curated a very solid GMAT curriculum (Online course+Masterclass Workshop) and I am sure people who are really serious about their career and who feel a good GMAT score can transform their careers, this curriculum is for them.
Too long a review I guess, so let me end this by acknowledging teachers :
"Being one is the highest privilege,
Having one is the best blessing"Happy teacher's Day Arun and Aditya, it was a privilege to be a part of this learning journey, curated by both of you
10/10 to the entire CRACKVERBAL team
Regards
Vivek Singh
