Its not invalid. Its still useful. And the new GMAT does include Quant to an extent. The Q’s are still practicable.

Also, welcome to the club. There’s a tonne of resources here to aid in your search

GMAC will never release questions that are not relevant to their examination. Official guide questions are the best resources out there.

Hi All , I want to take gmat focus in 2 months but just started to study ? From your study experience, do you think 2 months enough to do around 680 focus ?

That was my initial intention but then it failed miserably. Its hard to assess tbh. It all depends on how you personally perform and pick up speed. Also, previous experience or study background is hard to gauge. Personally, the areas I thought I was strong in became my main challenge points. I think its good if you have a solid plan that you’re constantly reviewing it. Practice Q’s and do mocks.
Another personal tip, you know you’re moving forward well when you’re able to answer Q’s in the top percentile with better accuracy and within the stipulated 2 mins.

680 in FOCUS is pretty ambitious

I disagree with the Classic cause again, too ambitious. Plus, if you sit for GFE and you dont get what you want, then at least preparing for something similar is easier on your brain muscle memory or whatever you call it.
But these are all our input. Again, for you to gauge.

Two ways to assess yourself:
1- Review a set of Q’s from FORUM, attempt them. There’s timer in FORUM Q’s for you time them
2- If you are indeed ambitious, attempt a Mock (honestly, super good gauge). There’s 2 free mocks available in MBA.com. And we all start there.

Hope that helps
