I started out my product management journey at Highradius Technologies building a B2B SaaS accounting automation product suite called record 2 report (R2R) for the office of the CFO. I have been part of this product from 0 to 1 and we eventually scaled it to 50+ clients (here I wore multiple hats as we started out with 4 PMs and a 8 member engineering team with 1 UX) in 3.5 years after which I transitioned to Coupa Software, working in the Treasury Management System (B2B SaaS) where I own the Market data integration with providers like Bloomberg, LSEG, etc., Account Statement Integrations with banks via SWIFT, EBICS, H2H, release planning and Coupa community for customer feedback loop, communication, launch posts, webinars, short usage/best practise videos for adoption.
Hey Sourav Priyanka here from ARINGO. Your profile looks good on the surface, a 9.68 GPA puts you at the top of the academic spectrum, and your PM experience in B2B SaaS is both relevant and differentiated. The fact that you helped scale a product from 0 to 1 at HighRadius and then moved into a leadership-heavy role at Coupa, owning integrations with major players like Bloomberg and LSEG, makes for an excellent career trajectory.
Your mix of technical depth, cross-functional ownership, and customer-facing engagement shows leadership potential and impact, which Adcoms at ISB really values. The key will be clearly articulating how you want to leverage ISB to drive your next step in tech. With a strong test score you’re a competitive spot.
I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for ISB and INSEAD to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help! No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
I am an agriculture graduate with 5 years of experience in agriculture and banking sector. I was in Canada for a period of 4 years where I have completed my post graduate certification in agri-business and marketing management and went on to work for 2 years. Right now I am leading an Agroforestry project in India.
Hey Aniket Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile looks interesting and stands out from the usual Indian applicant pool because of the agriculture + banking mix, plus the international stint in Canada. Your GPA looks decent, and the postgrad certification in agri-business/marketing adds weight to your academic side. Leading an agroforestry project now gives you a strong leadership story, which ISB and INSEAD both value. The key will be tying all of this into a clear post-MBA career vision so the Adcoms see where you’re headed. Do you have a GMAT/GRE yet?
I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for ISB and INSEAD to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help! No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing with 75%, which has given me a strong foundation in marketing principles, business strategy, and management fundamentals.
Professionally, I have over two years of hands-on experience managing a family-run PG accommodation business, where I have been involved in day-to-day operations, tenant management, pricing, basic accounting, and process coordination. This role has strengthened my practical understanding of operations, customer management, and business decision-making.
Additionally, I have worked as an Executive Assistant Intern at the Indore Management Association, where I supported senior management with coordination, documentation, and administrative planning, gaining exposure to professional corporate environments.
Beyond formal roles, I have actively participated in social impact initiatives, including leading and volunteering in weekly educational drives for underprivileged children over the course of a year. This experience reflects my interest in community development, leadership, and long-term social impact.
I am currently preparing for the GMAT and plan to pursue a Master in Management (MiM) to further strengthen my global business perspective and move toward my long-term goal of building a sustainable, impact-driven business.
3.5 years of work experience in Full stack software development with a promotion to senior software developer. Experience in leading web, law and designer team in a non profit organisation started by me. Experience in leading multi persons team in executing organisation level events. Experience in hosting cross company level events.
Hey Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile looks strong as an Indian female with about 4 years in tech, strong academics, and solid leadership both at work and outside. The differentiator is definitely the nonprofit leadership and community-building aspect, which adds depth beyond the standard IT profile. Are you up for a retake, or do you plan to apply with the same score? Your goal of pivoting from tech to healthcare/pharma is reasonable, but you’ll need a clear narrative on why this industry shift makes sense.
I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target MBA programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help! No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
Hi Priyanka , i have taken the gmat focus thrice and seem to be sticking with this score. I can give a GRE exam but i am definitely over with GMAT at this point
Thanks for sharing your profile @Novaskies ! Good GPA, 3.5 years of hands-on full-stack development, and a promotion to senior dev., shows technical rigor and career progression. Founded/led nonprofit teams and hosted multi-company events, great for teamwork, initiative, and community fit. A focused goal helps essay cohesion.
GMAT Focus score 595 is below many target medians, and adcoms will want stronger evidence of quantitative readiness (unless you apply to schools that explicitly accept lower scores). A higher score is required! Great work with all three GMAT attempts. We understand your feelings about the exam. If you'd like, you can explore TTP to prepare for your next GMAT. If you are switching to the GRE, all the best with the GRE prep.. Take some time off and then resume, you shall be good : )
Limited direct healthcare experience so far, schools want to see domain seriousness if you’re pivoting from tech to healthcare/pharma.
Talking about the schools. ESSEC lists a preferred minimum of 585 FE, and the average Focus score is ~615, so your 595 is within their considered range. You can make ESSEC a priority if you prefer Europe and want a relatively test-flexible option. Craft an excellent application.
With strong essays and evidence of quantitative strength, IESE can be reachable. You can take a look at this success story.
Imperial can be a possible / slightly target. Imperial recommends GMAT ≥600 (average reported ~666). Your 595 is close; a small retake of 625+ (with a very strong application) can improve odds.
SDA Bocconi / Said Oxford / INSEAD / NUS / Tuck / Johnson - Reach / needs a stronger test signal. Many of these schools have medians well above a 595 Focus. If these are your top priorities, strongly consider retaking the GMAT and aiming for a good score.
Showing healthcare intent with real steps: short projects, volunteering with healthcare startups, and a short verified course in Healthcare Analytics / Biostatistics / Regulatory Affairs will help. Schools want demonstrated seriousness. Pick recommenders who can quantify your technical and leadership impact (manager at work + board lead at your nonprofit). Brief them on metrics.
School-specific “Why” hooks: Research 2 concrete resources per school (centers, professors, healthcare clubs, recruiters) and mention how you’ll use them.
If you are looking for Scholarships, the committees look for both academic excellence and compelling leadership/impact. Increasing your GMAT improves scholarship odds at your target schools; strong domain alignment for healthcare (projects, alumni referrals) also helps. If funding is important, retaking gives better leverage for merit aid.
Questions for you to reflect on: 1) How many hours/week can you commit to GMAT prep over the next few weeks (realistic estimate)? 2) Do you already have any healthcare projects, or would you need to start one?
We would love to learn more about your academic background, extracurricular activities, professional experiences, and personal journey so we can offer a more tailored assessment of your profile and evaluate your chances at your target schools more accurately. Please feel free to book a profile evaluation session.
Hi @Novaskies, You bring a strong academic foundation (8.77 GPA) and solid technical depth with nearly 4 years in full stack development, along with a promotion to senior developer. Your leadership outside of work—founding and running a nonprofit, leading teams, and hosting cross-company events—adds real weight and demonstrates initiative beyond your core job. The main concern is your GMAT Focus score of 595, which is well below average for most competitive MBA programs; a retake aiming for 675+ will be important. Your nonprofit leadership and mix of tech + social impact could make you a differentiated candidate if well framed. Highlighting your leadership, professional achievements/tangible impact, relevant skills, career goals, unique experiences, and fit with the program effectively will be crucial in crafting a compelling application. To maximize your chances, consider applying to a balanced mix of reach, target, and safety schools. Feel free to book a free call with our MBA experts for a more detailed discussion. I have been working in a multinational bank for ~3 years. My responsibilities include looking after the Financial Performance and Client Analytics. I received a promotion last year.
Before this, I was a program coordinator at an Education Consultancy, which was a part-time role during the final year of my bachelor's. In this role, I was responsible for ~110 teaching staff and ~60+ support staff, where I was in charge of designing the curriculum, planning the routine, and managing the compensation structure of the employees. This was in 2020, during COVID-19 outbreak, and I had to introduce blended learning for the first time in this organization.
Hi @Cabbage Merchant, Your profile shows solid professional growth with 3+ years at a multinational bank in analytics/financial performance and a recent promotion, which highlights strong trajectory. The part-time coordinator role during undergrad is unique—managing 170+ staff during COVID and implementing blended learning is an unusual leadership story that could help you stand out. A 3.5 GPA is solid, though your GMAT Focus score of 665 is slightly on the lower side. If possible, I’d encourage you to retake the GMAT and aim to improve your score by 20–30 points to strengthen your application and stay competitive. Since you’re aiming for consulting, you’ll need to emphasize problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in your essays and recommendations. Graduated from George Washington University in 2021. Finance major, Econ minor. At matriculation (Fall 2026) I will have 4 years of work experience. This includes 2 years as a proprietary trader at Trillium Trading, and 2 years as a Portfolio Construction associate at Brown Brothers Harriman.
Hi Matthew, You have a solid foundation for investment management with a relevant academic background (finance + econ) and directly aligned work experience across trading and portfolio construction. This gives you credibility for your post-MBA goals. 3.56 GPA is solid. GMAT - you should aim for a 695+ score to strengthen your application and stay competitive for top-tier programs. Use your essays to highlight leadership, teamwork, and decision-making impact in your trading and portfolio roles. Feel free to book a free call with our MBA experts for a more detailed discussion. I have consistently excelled academically, achieving 94% in 10th (ICSE) and 90% in 12th (State Board), and maintaining a strong performance in my undergraduate studies with 7.45 in the 1st semester and 7.5 in the 2nd semester. These results reflect my dedication, discipline, and strong analytical skills.
Beyond academics, I have actively engaged in volunteer and leadership activities, gaining practical experience in marketing and team coordination. I have contributed to the Digital Marketing, Marketing, and Hospitality committees, and as a member of the Leo Club, I have participated in initiatives for social impact and community service. These experiences have strengthened my abilities in marketing strategy, social media management, communication, and project execution.
To further enhance my skill set, I have completed certifications in Excel (Beginner to Advanced) and Generative AI Foundations, while honing my pitching, communication, and marketing skills. Fluent in Hindi and English, I am comfortable working in multicultural environments and collaborating with diverse teams.
My career goal is to become a marketing strategist, combining creativity, analytics, and digital expertise to drive impactful campaigns in global companies or innovative startups. The HEC Paris MSc in Marketing offers the ideal environment to deepen my knowledge, engage with world-class faculty, and collaborate with ambitious peers, preparing me to make meaningful contributions in the field of marketing.
I am a 25 year old man hailing from Kolkata, having completed a bachelor's degree in Statistics from St. Xavier's College Kolkata (CGPA: 7.35) and a Master of Operational Research from University of Delhi (CGPA: 8.5). [10th: 88%, 12th: 89%]
During my masters I interned at Gartner, which is an internationally revered Research and Advisory Company. I was the only student out of a batch of 170 to be selected for the internship. Post my internship, I was offered a PPO which I had accepted and spent 2 years at Gartner as a Specialist, Quantitative Analysis and Data Science in the Cybersecurity Research practice. At Gartner I honed my quantitative and technical skills and made significant contributions to Gartner business: > I was primarily responsible for analyzing data and presenting insights to senior stakeholders across the world. > I pioneered GenAI adoption in the team by being the first to use NotebookLM to analyze 2000+ client inquiries, the results of which were used in 2026 Agenda Planning for Cybersecurity. Received Research and Advisory Recognition Award > I was one of the founding members of the Data Engineering and Automation Taskforce which was created to improve the internal efficiency of the team. I introduced Python alternatives to legacy VBA based data tasks reducing execution time by 90%
I had taken finance electives during my final two semesters in college. I knew then that my passion lied in finance. As I was working at Gartner, I was upskilling parallelly to move into finance. I have passed CFA Level 1 and completed multiple certifications on credit risk modelling. I eventually was able to completely shift my domain and function by securing a position as Consultant II at EXL Services. I will be working on developing credit risk models for the largest US based credit card company and bank, impacting their entire consumer level credit card loan portfolio and ensuring compliance with US Federal Bank risk standards.
I have pursued my passion of music for 15+ years now. I am an Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music certified Grade 8 violinist. [Highest grade possible]. I had been part of the Abraham Mazumder Symphony Orchestra from 2015 - 2021, spending the last two years as the lead violinist. During that time, I regularly volunteered at Abraham Mazumder Music School teaching music to children and assisting on orchestra setups for numerous concerts. I was primarily responsible for organizing the G20: University Connect event at Delhi University, Department of Operational Research, drawing 300+ footfall including the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University. I was the leading member of the Engagement Committee at Gartner organizing fun and skill development activities to improve collaboration within the team.
Additional Information: > I expect to complete all three levels of CFA before applying for MBA > I want to do MBA to pivot from back office analytics in finance to buy-side front office. Management consulting could be my backup > I can switch companies one more time depending on how much brand value of my current organization plays a role during MBA applications > I have played tennis and participated in multiple junior championships from 2009-2015. Although I was not good at it and that experience taught me a lot about failure.
I am a U.S. Navy Lieutenant and Naval Flight Officer with over six years of operational leadership on the P-8A Poseidon, specializing in anti-submarine warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and international defense cooperation. Currently, I serve as a Military Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, where I bridge military operations with diplomacy, ensuring compliance with U.S. export control laws while supporting U.S. defense trade interests. In this role, I am the only O-3 serving as a Military Advisor at the State Department, working alongside a Wardroom of more senior Navy and Marine Corps officers. Despite being the most junior by rank, I am entrusted to lead critical aspects of the Navy–Marine Corps MILAD Wardroom, where I oversee finances and membership while helping strengthen community and professional ties across the organization.
I am a qualified Mission Commander and Instructor Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) on the P-8A Poseidon, having earned both qualifications well ahead of the typical 18–24 month timeline by completing them in just 15 months. I was fully responsible for leading a detachment, taking a P-8 to Singapore and Thailand in support of international air shows and large-scale multinational exercises. I also directed combat-ready crews through complex ISR and anti-submarine warfare missions.
As one of the lead Naval Flight Officers in my squadron, I mentored and developed the next cadre of NFOs, shaping their progression and readiness. Under this leadership, the squadron earned the Battle Efficiency Award (Battle “E”) for two consecutive years, recognizing us as the top-performing unit in our community. These experiences taught me how to develop people, build winning teams, and deliver results in demanding environments — the same skills I want to bring into the private sector.
I graduated magna cum laude with a 3.72 GPA from Florida State University with a degree in Information Technology and have completed extensive professional military education and joint training. Looking ahead, I am preparing for a top-tier MBA to expand my business and leadership toolkit. My long-term vision is to transition into the tech sector — leading projects or joining a startup I truly value, particularly those focused on innovation with social impact. I want to use my background in mission-driven leadership to help build organizations that not only succeed commercially but also make a meaningful difference.

Automation Engineer at Major US Defense Company. Entered as an ELDP and promoted ahead of peers to senior level. Have added significant value to factory. Received B.S./M.S. within 4 years with good GPAs, 3.8 & 3.9, respectively. Solid involvement during school with organizations and have continued on board of one as an alumni. Aiming for LGO as top choice. Narrative for essays focusing on Automation/I4.0 -> Aerospace as we are very slow to adapt haha. Thanks!
Hey Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile looks good on the surface. 4 years in manufacturing/defense with direct factory impact, ELDP background, and a fast promotion all scream “operations/leadership fit.”
The dual BS/MS with stellar GPA adds solid academic credibility, and the ongoing alumni board involvement rounds out the profile with leadership/community impact. Your GMAT Focus looks decent. That said, your story, automation/industry to Aerospace transformation is compelling. Make sure to build a strong narrative around your application.
I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target MBA programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help! No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
Thanks for sharing your profile @ASE25 ! Let's start with your strengths: Perfect academic + technical baseline: B.S./M.S. with 3.8/3.9 GPAs signals good quantitative chops. Operations & automation experience inside a large, complex organization, LGO’s target profile (industrial systems + manufacturing transformation). Rapid promotion / ELDP track record shows leadership, high potential, and organizational recognition. Clear, themeable story: “Automation / Industry 4.0 → aerospace/manufacturing” is tight and relevant.
675 GMAT FE score is decent. Why MBA / why now? At 4 years, you must clearly explain why a 2-year MBA (and LGO specifically) is the right next step versus staying technical or doing an MS. Fit for non-LGO schools: Stanford/HBS are very selective; they’ll expect extraordinary leadership stories and evidence you’ll benefit uniquely from those ecosystems.
Realistic chances: Good fit. LGO explicitly recruits engineers with manufacturing/operations/automation experience. If LGO is your priority, apply early, and it becomes your first deliverable. Haas, target/reach, Haas values tech + product/operations, good fit. Haas medians are similar to other top programs; a stronger quantitative test helps. Stanford GSB / Harvard HBS, Reach. Both can be possible, but highly selective. They prize unique leadership and vision; apply only if you have standout, distinct leadership narratives and can articulate why each school’s ecosystem is essential to your goals. Stanford’s class profile shows broad GMAT ranges, but medians are higher. Alternatives that you can explore: Tepper, Ross, and Fuqua
Focus on measurable factory impact: % throughput increase, downtime reduction, cycle time improvements, cost savings, quality defect reductions, automation ROI, people-led, budgets, and cross-functional leadership. Try to choose technical + operations recommenders for LORs. Make your “Why MBA → Why LGO ironclad. For LGO, emphasize the need for management training to scale automation solutions, the two-year leadership lab, and the partner-company internships.
Questions for you to reflect on: 1) Any patents, publications, or technical awards related to automation / I4.0? 2) Do you have a partner company preference for LGO internships/employers you want to target? (helps craft “why LGO”)
We would love to learn more about your academic background, extracurricular activities, professional experiences, and personal journey so we can offer a more tailored assessment of your profile and evaluate your chances at your target schools more accurately.
