Thanks for sharing your profile @ASE25 ! Let's start with your strengths: Perfect academic + technical baseline: B.S./M.S. with 3.8/3.9 GPAs signals good quantitative chops. Operations & automation experience inside a large, complex organization, LGO’s target profile (industrial systems + manufacturing transformation). Rapid promotion / ELDP track record shows leadership, high potential, and organizational recognition. Clear, themeable story: “Automation / Industry 4.0 → aerospace/manufacturing” is tight and relevant.

675 GMAT FE score is decent. Why MBA / why now? At 4 years, you must clearly explain why a 2-year MBA (and LGO specifically) is the right next step versus staying technical or doing an MS. Fit for non-LGO schools: Stanford/HBS are very selective; they’ll expect extraordinary leadership stories and evidence you’ll benefit uniquely from those ecosystems.

Realistic chances: Good fit. LGO explicitly recruits engineers with manufacturing/operations/automation experience. If LGO is your priority, apply early, and it becomes your first deliverable. Haas, target/reach, Haas values tech + product/operations, good fit. Haas medians are similar to other top programs; a stronger quantitative test helps. Stanford GSB / Harvard HBS, Reach. Both can be possible, but highly selective. They prize unique leadership and vision; apply only if you have standout, distinct leadership narratives and can articulate why each school’s ecosystem is essential to your goals. Stanford’s class profile shows broad GMAT ranges, but medians are higher. Alternatives that you can explore: Tepper, Ross, and Fuqua

Focus on measurable factory impact: % throughput increase, downtime reduction, cycle time improvements, cost savings, quality defect reductions, automation ROI, people-led, budgets, and cross-functional leadership. Try to choose technical + operations recommenders for LORs.
Make your “Why MBA → Why LGO ironclad. For LGO, emphasize the need for management training to scale automation solutions, the two-year leadership lab, and the partner-company internships.

1) Any patents, publications, or technical awards related to automation / I4.0?
2) Do you have a partner company preference for LGO internships/employers you want to target? (helps craft “why LGO”)
