Hey guys,
I am really devastated. I 've been working on the GMAT for 4 weeks now (full-time 5-6h/day) and I started the whole thing with a prep test and a score of 480.
I worked through all
MGMAT books, wrote summaries, formula sheets and learned all of that. I have done the first 120 PS problems, 90 DS problems, 90 SC problems, 30 CR, and 115 RC and reviewed all errors frequently..
My other mocks have been 530 - 560 - and today a
500. I don't know what to do anymore....I seriously thought I would be able to crack the 600 today.
Concerns:Quant: Today was the first test WITH IR but IR did not really put me off, at least I did not recognize it.. Looking at the quant scores, I was at the 600-630 level consistently until question 22, got 7 wrong in a row and BAM there I was. To be precise at question 20 I was at
61% (=43p) and then got 13/17 wrong and was down at 26%. Though I did not really have timing issues... Isn't the fact that I was able to be at 61% after question 20 a good thing? I am totally confused...
Verbal: In all my testing, I have RC proficiency of over 85%, in the
MGMAT tests I get at least 50 % wrong (especially with those 60-80lines text). Also, I worked through Powerscore CR, got all 30 first CR questions right in the OG, but I am not able to manage CR in the test... the same applies to SC. For SC I think I try to be faster than normal to be able to get through all RCs properly but in case of CR I just can't grasp all of the reasonings behind
MGMAT questions..
I really don't know what to do anymore at the moment. Have I done too much and should I rest for 1 day ? I have the GMAT in 2 1/2 weeks and thought to be on a 650+ level at that point in time but I scored just little above my first score... Should I do less CATs (every three days so far)? Should I do more OG? Should I stop doing anything?
Urgently need help guys....
