English Language Waiver for International Students

Question

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for suggestions if I should appear for TOEFL before applying to programs in US/Canada.
I can provide letter from my college stating that medium of teaching was English.

I really dont want to appear if the waiver is an option.

GMAT - 740 (Q51 , V38 , IR - 8)

Hey,
Most schools don’t require the test if your medium of instruction at college was english.
For most you don’t even have to provide a letter!

As others said about your query,  Most Schools  are happy to give conditional waivers. Please remember to check specifically with your school, specifically since getting TOEFL appointment dates later become a major hassle

Hi there,

You should check the English requirements/policy of each program you are applying to, to see if you qualify for a waiver.

Hi, from the schools I was interested in, only UCLA asked for TOEFL as mandatory requirement
