Hi All,
I took my GMAT and I want you guys, especially the moderators, to do a quick review of my ESR.
Q-49
I started pretty well and got all (9?) correct on the first section. But even then, the level of questions didn't go up! I am quite surprised by that. Also, i am quite surprised to see that although I only got 5 questions incorrect in the entire section, I still only managed a score of 49. Shouldn't it have been a 50 or 51?

I expected to do much better on SC, I frequently got an accuracy of 90% on SCs during GMAT preps/mock exams. The last 7 days before my test, I focused on RC and I guess that worked but at the cost of SC. I have never been good at CR, so I expected less than 80 percentile here.
I am planning to retake the test in first week of September, please share your thoughts on the ESR. My thoughts are:-
1. I need to maintain Quant performance and focus only (?) on 700+ questions for the next three weeks to crack 50/51!
2. I have to improve my time management on quant, especially from question 10 to 20. I did not do well there and used almost THIRTY minutes!!
3. For verbal, again I think I need to cut down my time on CR (I took 2:06 per question) and spend more time on SC (1:15 per question). But how do I ensure that the accuracy doesn't go down?
4. Lastly, I think I did well on RC and will be okay if I just maintain this.
My aim is to score a 730 and I have read on various blogs that the second attempt is the on which most test takers score their highest scores. Please review and let me know your thoughts, moderators.
Thanks :)
