I am confused between B and E.
Both B and E makes sense but D doesnt seem right. Everyone should't have gender specific himself or herself pointing back at it.

Just a friendly reminder to please please please specify the source whenever you post a new question!

It always pains me to say this, but I wouldn't worry too much about this one. It really doesn't resemble a real GMAT question, unfortunately. I've never seen a GMAT question that uses a gender-specific pronoun ("himself" or "herself") to refer back to "everyone" -- and if (D) is correct, there's absolutely no reason why (C) is wrong. But the GMAT wouldn't test that issue, anyway.

The intended meaning of the sentence is also unclear. Do we want people to "adapt to the new way of detecting errors" or "adopt the new way of detecting errors"? Either could be correct.

Anyway -- please don't waste time on this one. But you should take a look at mbsingh's blog! See the signature in the post above this one. :)

hahha seems like it. Oh well 20 is still better than 2. It's helping with writing skill for sure, would highly recommend all the prospective applicants to do it.

I think none of the options are correct
When Everyone is present , we can never use gender specific himself / herself .
though we can use oneself.
adopt - adopting some child / an idea.
Adapt - a new way of approach , a new way of life.
Adapt > Adopt in this question but no answer is right.
