Nobody will deny the fact that although MBA education lays strong foundation of your professional career, it is a very costly investment. Top 5 US Bschools charge nearly $118,000 on average for tuition and fees* (for two years). If you add other expenses such as study material, housing, etc, the figure goes up to $147,000. Clearly top Bschools are expensive and one has to do lot of efforts to raise the money to attend these programs. Obviously freebies such as scholarships and fellowships can be of great help in reducing burden of education loans. Many schools and institutions award merit based scholarships to outstanding students. Some generous scholarships can even cover your total MBA cost, giving you free Bschool ride and allowing you to complete your MBA debt free.

In the table below, we have compiled all such special scholarships with their qualification criteria so that prospective applicants know which scholarships are available at schools they are considering to apply. Some scholarships require separate application whereas for other scholarships applicants are considered automatically. Click on “More Info” column for scholarship application details. If you know of any Named and Special Scholarship that we haven’t included here, let us know so that we can update the table accordingly.

Has anyone found info on independent scholarships for top MBA programs? I.E. Corporate sponsored or government sponsored programs to provide scholarships for MBA students.

The ones that I know of are:

Fulbright Scholarships from the U.S. State Department
Erasmus Scholarships from the European Union

Anyone know of any others?
