Add me to the list - R2 applicant interviewed and waitlisted. Called admissions and they said they didn't provide feedbacks.

From what I have been told - there will be no update if you remain on the waitlist. You will get a response if you are denied, and I believe that if accepted, you would have heard already. In the same boat here - haven't heard anything and at this point, not expecting to. They mentioned that the applicant pool was significantly stronger than in years past, and as a result, they were waitlisting more candidates as they got a better understanding of the yield.

I agree that it looks like if you were accepted, then you would have a call already. Sounds like people have updates on SISS. It seems kind of strange to me that we wouldn't at least get something to confirm you want to remain on the waitlist. Frankly, the way the waitlist has been managed has been pretty disappointing. I am on another waitlist that has been 5X better. Also, I had a call in January where I was told that no one gets denied off the waitlist. You either get in, remove yourself, or stay on the waitlist forever (until orientation basically). Not sure if anyone can confirm that.

Waitlisted R2. Now I need to figure out what additional info I can submit and whether I can rustle up a recommendation from another alum. Congrats to any R1 waitlisters who were admitted today!

Yay Waitlist! Is it true that the lucky few that will migrate from WL to Admitted won't hear back until the Round 3 Decision, or is it rolling based on admitted people who withdraw? I guess May 9th isn't terribly far away, but after looking through past years WL board it seems like they string you along until August. That seems like a ridiculous amount of time to wait. I guess I will just start my WL update email like the rest of the group....
