Hey everybody! I was waitlisted R2 and my waitlist letter said that I would "receive an emailed invitation to participate in the next round of interviews.... Please refer to our Web site for details on the interview invitation and decision release timeline."

The website (https://www.fuqua.duke.edu/daytime-mba/admissions/) says interview invitations would be sent by April 9. For round 2 they were sent well before close of business in Durham, however it's 6 pm there now and I haven't received any update.

Is anybody else in this same boat? Has anyone received an update?

I received an email from the adcom today. It's just an FAQ pdf about "What Can You Do While "Waiting"? - Next Steps while on the Waitlist" Not sure its just because I sent in my update letter yesterday and this is more just about a confirmation.

Anyone received the same letter today (or before)?

I'm assuming everyone on the waitlist got the "What Can You Do While Waiting"email yesterday. I actually got the exact same email again today...
In any case, you will probably receive a separate email soon confirming the receipt of your update letter.

Just submitted my update letter for Duke. I hope I didn't come on too strong, but I definitely wanted them to know how much I like their program and what a good fit it is for me.

It's a tough place to be in, but people do get in off the wl and the only thing that helps is knowing that you couldn't have done one more thing to get that admit.

so aside from dlbu1987 and breisch's gf who got off waitlist, anyone else?

both of them were R2 WL applicants.

so for the rest of us still stuck on WL looks like are chances very slim huh?

So... anyone with any movement whatsoever since R3? Anyone get in or released from waitlist? Or any contact from adcom or assignment of waitlist manager, etc. It's oh so quiet...

The last email communication said that if you didn't receive news during R3 that you would be assigned a waitlist manager at the beginning of June.

In the facebook group, one girl mentioned yesterday that she got off of the WL recently. The email from WL counselor comes around 5th June - I think last year mine came on the 6th.
