Your profile definitely looks promising with your GMAT score being at par with the school's requirement. Your engineering background provides an analytical touch to your business perspective and will be very supportive of your post-MBA goal of strategy consulting. A significant chunk (15%) of the class at Fuqua comes from a consulting background. This will provide you with a lot of exposure and will open more than usual opportunities for you.
The middle 80% of the class at Fuqua has their GMAT scores between 660-740. Yours is perfectly in line with the class profile. The average work-ex of the class is 67 months. As yours is slightly lower, you’ll have to showcase how you are a perfect fit by highlighting your career progression and contributions you have made towards your employers in the past. The adcoms should get the impression that you are a high-performing individual who has performed better than his peers in the past. To make this point, you may also mention your leadership positions and learnings from them or how you handled a certain crisis in the company.
Your ECs are very strong in themselves bringing forward the competitiveness and intellectual prowess in you. Your counselling sessions and workshops must have honed your communications skills which will further help you post your MBA. The fact that you took the initiative to open quiz-club tells a lot about your leader's attitude.
Though your overall profile is strong, I’ll also recommend you to mention your hobbies and interests. They add a broader perspective to the profile and values which help in determining b-schools whether a candidate is a right fit for b-school or not.
To fit together, all of this should come together to make a clear point of how your post-MBA goal falls in line with your abilities, interests and past professional experience. You can connect the dots starting from your analytical background, moving to experience you’ve gained from different roles you have worked in and culminating in the consulting role.

Industry: Business Planning Analyst at a publicly-traded telecom company.
Education:
B.A. in Economics/Public Policy, 3.4, from a small liberal arts college. I have Cs and two Ds. I plan to explain that I am more mature now than I was in my late teens/early twenties, and I now work hard to succeed even when something is challenging (will relate to WE and Python certificate program that I will mention below).
Work Experience:
Total 5 years (3 years at a back office corporate finance position, previous 2 years at other less senior corporate finance positions at other companies)
Main accomplishments include automating various aspects of my job and improving financial models and decks that go before c-level executives.
Extracurriculars – Stand Up Comedy (took a class and performed at two amateur shows in front of 100+ people), non-credit diploma in Python programming from NYU SPS, chess (played for years, took a break from 2015-2020, but resumed tournaments right before COVID), volunteering at a soup kitchen (just starting, but anticipating close to 80 volunteer hours by Q3-2021). In college, I was the founder and president of the chess club.
Post MBA Goal – Management consultant in NYC.
Ideally, I would also like to get some money from them, but I don't know if that's plausible.
