Request you to please help me with the dilemma - should I wait it out for a year?

Nationality: Indian
Age: 32
Undergrad: B.Tech - Computer Science Engineering (2007) with 6.4/10 CGPA
Undergrad activities: Head of the literary society, part of the university event organizing committee

Professional Experience: 2 years of coding in embedded C++ > Moved over to advertising as a content editor and digital solutions person > Morphed into a digital marketing professional over 2.5 years > Joined the most admired (?) global advertising agency > Global Head of Social Media Marketing and Corporate Digital Marketing at a $10 billion Indian IT service enterprise > Moved to an Interbrand 37 in a strategic digital and social media marketing role - leadership coach on social, taking up special projects and coaching colleagues on the tricks of the trade.

Personal: Father to a three-year-old stand-up comedian and husband to the lady who helped me get back and give the GMAT another shot after a gap of 6 years.

GMAT: Quant: 48, Verbal: 40, Total: 720, IR: 3 (never scored less than a 90th percentile and what a day to blow it!), AWA: Awaited. Had a 6 in 2011.

I had RSM in sights when preparing (580 and 620 on CAT) and with a 720 with me now, should I give INSEAD, IMD, LBS and IE a shot by waiting out for a year?
If RSM comes through, the session begins in January 2018 and this precedes the decision deadlines for the others.

I would appreciate if you could help me with this query.
Cheers!
Aashish

Thanks for sharing your profile. I would take a shot at some of the other programs with your new GMAT unless you feel that RSM is the best fit for you and your career. Ultimately that is the most important thing when it comes to these decisions not just the rankings or prestige of the program but you can def take a shot at the programs listed with your GMAT score
