Hi experts, can someone help me understand if there are any sectional cutoff across the colleges, or do they check the overall scores?

Only overall scores are looked at. Nobody has hard cut offs. But you may be asked if you’re serious in case you have a very low DI or Quant score and you say you want to be in finance or data analysis.

Usually, accounting requires higher Quant, Marketing requires a higher verbal. That’s what I see from my university and other students.

Who’s telling you this? Consultant or university? If it’s university, I think there’s not much argument. If it’s a consultant, they must have a concern and I would find out what that concern is....
