Hi All,
It has been a remarkable moment for me as I have recently completed the GMAT Online Exam with the score 750 (Q51 V40).
Background : I am 31 years old Chinese who raised and born in Malaysia. I did my undergraduate in Malaysia as well where I received a bachelors in Chemical Engineering. I am currently working as an Engineer in Oil & Gas industry.
The journey to 750 has never been easy for a non-native speaker from Malaysia. It has been years since I took my first GMAT exam backed to 2017. The verbal section was hit me pretty hard and I am struggling to the gist of the Reading Comprehension and the crucible of the Critical Reasoning despite the hard work and dedication I were putting in. Since the setback from GMAT, I have started to study diligent and watching the video from
GMATNinja and all resources from GMATCLUB.
I took a year off for not studying the GMAT and try to find an alternative career path and search for meaning in life. The verbal section from GMAT has never been easy for me. I am trying to try to improve my basic reading skill by reading Scientific American, New York Times, The Economist, New Scientist, etc. as suggested from my friend who scored 740.
Out of the sudden, COVID-19 hit all around the world and my MBA dream was crashed as it posted another challenge into my life. My company started to restructure and there was a massive layoff. But the I am lucky to secure the job. GMAC was introduced GMAT Online and I am backed to my GMAT study. Through all the hard work, effort and practice from GMATCLUB, I am able to score the Online GMAT Exam with 750.
It is the most remarkable and memorable moment for me and it will open another chapter in my life. I am thrilled to be part of the GMATCLUB community. Everything is possible via commitment that I put in there. Finally it is bearing fruit!
Best of luck to all!
