Hey, just wondering if anyone on here can tell me about their experiences with waiting time for GMAT scores to be sent to selected 5 colleges?

I'm cutting it very close to the deadline and wondering if 20 days is realistic for the score to be processed, or if it's often less time. Looking to book the test 19 days before the deadline of receipt as that's the only available day in test centres near me. Is this too risky?

Thanks

I believe the poster above me is correct. I'll add, though, that you can always contact the schools you're applying to. It might be safer to do that, just to make 100% sure.

Ok, thanks a lot. Do you know if the 20 days is a realistic timescale, or is it often less than this?

The official score is usually generated within 5-7 days. 20 days is the maximum that the GMAC says the official report can take.

Although you don't need to take the GMAT "19 days before the deadline", it's good that you are doing so. I'm sure your application would feel really rushed otherwise, and taking it well before your deadlines allows you the opportunity to take the exam again if things don't go according to plan the first time around (16 days between GMAT attempts).
