Hello avadhesh

Top 10 schools do no grant admissions based on stats, but on quality. You can read more on how to get admission to a top B-School here
No score is too high or too low- it is your overall profile that matters.
What have you done in these 9 years? What has been your career progression? Key achievements?
How do you bring diversity to the class? What are your extracurricular activities?
Why do you need an MBA? What are your career goals and why is an MBA an absolute necessity to reach these goals? You could begin your research here.
It is impossible for anyone to tell you a score target based on the limited info given. However, if I were to give you an answer, then looking at your past scores I will recommend a 730+.
Will that alone grant you an admission to Top 10? Most certainly not.
Hope that helps.

Hi avadhesh,

Your query is a bit subjective. The GMAT is a very important element of your application but Ad Coms evaluate applications in a more holistic manner. Hence, the score you should be targetting will depend also on your overall profile - professional experience, career progression, achievements, extra-curricular activities, and anything else that differentiates from other applicants.

Having said the above, when you are targetting the top 10, a 740 would be a basic benchmark. However, this too will not guarantee admission and you may even find people with a 710 making it :-)

Happy to have the details of your profile to provide you with a detailed profile evaluation.

All the best!
