Thanks Jibs, Also since you have had the experience of the program, I would like to know if the PGPM is suited for someone who is trying to change their Career Trajectory. Say from Design Engineering to Operations/Supply Chain Management. I have read a lot of posts online mentioning that this may not be the most ideal program for a career shift in terms of Placement. Also would you happen to have a Function-Wise division of placement statistics, specifically Major Recruiters and average salary per function, similar to how it was done for the 2013 and 2014 batch?
I think its the ideal program for someone with experience who is planning for a career shift. I myself had a prior experience of 4 years working for an IT company as a test engineer, and post-MBA I'm working as a "Marketing Manager" in "education sector". Many of my colleagues who came from industries like SBI/ banking , Automobile, IT/ ITES, ed-tech, healthcare etc. to name a few, were successfully able to make transitions to Operations/ Marketing/ Finance / Analytics roles that too in industries different from their previous ones. So the one year program is an added advantage for experienced professionals to cut short their educational journey to just 1 year and start working from the next year.
I do not want to miss out on important points regarding placements, so would request you to go to this link which contains details related to Function-Wise division of placement statistics, Major Recruiters, previous placement reports etc. https://www.greatlakes.edu.in/pgpm/placement-snapshot

Jibs, I have already been through this placement snapshots. My question was, On this link itself, if you go to the placement snapshot for the years 2013 and 2014, there has been a bifurcation in the avg. salary by function as well as major companies recruiting per function, but this bifurcation has stopped after 2014. So would you have this data for the years after 2014? More specifically, I would like to know the major companies recruiting students to the Operations Function and the avg. salary for Operations as it was mentioned in the 2014 snapshot. And if you have the data, I would also like to know the job titles, profiles offered. This would help a lot. Thanks Jibbi for your help in advance. You have already helped clear a lot of things.

Hey, this looks like a profile that meets GLIM's expectations. But it totally depends on how well you have written the essays.
