Just curious - would you mind sharing your thinking on probability? Last year, Dee said that 800 invites went out in wave 1 and 100 in wave 2.

For my part I read the same, last year , as well as the year before: 80% of invites during wave 1..

The probability of getting an invite depends on the strength of your application.

I agree that the probability of receiving one of the ~900 R1 interview invites depends on the strength of your application. But if 800 of those R1 invites come out today and 100 come out next week, then the probability of receiving a wave 1 invite is not the same as receiving a wave 2 invite, right?

Maybe this isn't the place for this, but I'm kinda bummed. Not to sound entitled, but I was expecting to hear good news from HBS today. Instead, I have not heard anything yet.

I got a 750, had a 3.7 GPA from a top 25 school and worked at McKinsey for 2 years. Further, I think, based on feedback from recent MBA grads, that I had a compelling career story / essays too! Any chance I am missing the email? Any way that I can understand better why I didn't hear back? Obvs still have a chance on 10/16.

Congrats to those in the gmatclub community that got interviews!

Chin up. There is still hope at least.

Congrats to all those invited on interview. Best of luck and do gmatclub proud! To those still in limbo (myself included) there is still hope. Saying that this is going to be a long week. I guess most of all I just want some certainty one way or another!

We had a VERY good time at HBS last year. I am somewhat positive that the stats were comparable.

Kellogg and Stanford on the other hand were not that great!!
