Finally!! Got an interview invite today... And I am super excited! :)

Also, I am a bit confused. The mail mentions that I have to send the official transcripts or certified copies to HEC 'before the Admission Jury'. However, the date for this Jury is not mentioned and I could not find any such info on HEC website either.
Will this info be shared in a later mail or is there something else that I am not aware of? :| :?:

are results for hec paris msc.strategic management prog out yet?? My app status shows no change - does this mean i didnt get it?

Also the app status for the msc int. biz (i applied to this as the 2nd prog) changed to under investigation. any idea on the chances of converting to an interview on the 2nd option (the 2nd option gets picked only if the first is out)? And what is the admissions calendar for this because I think since this is the 2nd option, it tends to have a separate screening process - will they be sending any separate mail?

Hey, can anyone tell me in the section, how do you plan to finance your MBA, how much detail is required? Or is it like generic like loan + savings + etc etc ?

This is my first app so having lots of doubts :(

Hi ashkul123
There are numerous scholarships available at HEC Paris. Check out the following link:
https://www.mba.hec.edu/Fees-Funding/Scholarships
Apart from this the school also has tie ups with local banks where you can apply for an education loan.
The scholarship amounts range from 6000 EUR to 24000 EUR and these scholarships are given out to a more than half of the accepted students.

Hello GMATCLUB Members,

We are bringing a webinar with Q&A as well as chats with current students focused on the Waitlisted Applicants.
The first event of this series is Webinar conducted by Admissionado's Founder and HBS Alum Jon Frank. Jon will share his suggestions followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask your specific questions. The webinar will take place on 31st January 2014, Friday, 9 AM PST.

Does anyone know at what time is the deadline for the next round? They put February 1st, so is it January 31st at midnight or February 1st at midnight?
Another question about the international exposure and extracurricular activities: They did not specify a word limit so are you guys elaborating the answers or just listing briefly the information?

good luck! just a quick question.. was your presentation about yourself or it's really as the instruction said, any topic will do even if it's not relevant to your application? also, did you use the same presentation for both interviews?

I'm about to have mine.. super nervous :P

Seems like they changed the deadlines. Last time it was on the 15th of each month. I submitted mine Jan 15th evening, Paris time, and was considered for the 7 Feb decision date. Was really surprised by the change. I guess it's best to check with adcom.
For the international exposure part, I elaborated briefly on the activities i did (around 200 words in total for 4 of them)

Seems like they changed the deadlines. Last time it was on the 15th of each month. I submitted mine Jan 15th evening, Paris time, and was considered for the 7 Feb decision date. Was really surprised by the change. I guess it's best to check with adcom.

My application is considered for the 7 March decision date. I checked with the adcom.

The presentation, as mentioned on the website, can be on any random topic. They just want to evaluate your presentation skills. But be ready to answer why you chose this topic. I was asked this question by both the interviewers.
I checked up one of my interviewer's profile on LinkedIn and made a presentation on a topic in his area of work. The good part is that he was very interested and appreciated that I had done some research about him. The risky part.... it was his area of expertise. So if you plan to do the same, you better be very well informed about the topic.
And yes you can use the same presentation or 2 different presentations in your interviews. That is your call.
