Just took the online GMAT today, somehow managed to completely botch the IR section :(

Is the IR score a red flag/stick out like a sore thumb? Worth it to retake? Assuming target of M7 schools

Rough Profile: Not the best GPA (3.3), electrical eng undergrad degree from U of Maryland College Park (big state school), 2.5 YE at B4 consulting firm (although I'll probably work at least another year or two before applying)

It's not bad at all.. Go ahead with application

Integrated Reasoning is to evaluate information presented in multiple formats from multiple sources. These skills are necessary to succeed in our data-driven world. In fact, IR >4 would be acceptable without being a red flag.
You can go ahead and apply for your desired (right fit) schools with your current GMAT scores.

Hello qtip97,

An IR 4 is considered borderline so you are still above that. :-)

That aside, you have a very good GMAT score and should not worry about the IR at all!

All the best!

Thanks for sharing your question here, about this I would say that overall you have exceptional score but IR score is a decent score so need not worry about this just start preparing for the application and essay just make sure that you will be able to form your story with projects and with work experience, so here I would suggest you don’t go for again GMAT know you have series of things to concentrate you have to stress that now you need to build the profile, get your strategy aligned with the right course/college and also put stress on, your post-MBA goals.
