No admitted to Marshall, rejected from UNC. Domestic. Even had a letter of rec from a professor at UNC. I'm still pretty shocked.

I see a few who got admission with a GMAT waiver for UNC KF. I guess the GMAT waiver shouldn't be a problem if you've already got it. How do you feel about other parts of your application?
I have a decent GPA above 3.6. Im a domestic applicant. Also, I two really good brand name companies on my resume. Im waiting for g-town and i think i did really well on my interview.

Got it zetsu234 I have seen similar profiles getting admissions. Let's see how it goes Also, Georgetown is sending the decisions on the 18th. Is UNC your top choice?

Thanks man. G-town is top choice. UNC very close 2nd.
From last years decision tracker I can see that 13 out of the 33 waitlisted applicants have got an admission. The decision tracker won’t have all the applicants data and the above data is only from those who have updated the decision tracker but it will give you a rough idea I guess.
Thank you! I guess those aren't such bad odds. I know it doesn't include the whole story, only people who posted updates to GMATClub.
For me, I sent them a late test score, and they only provide 5-days for any additional updates. So I'm hoping I can leverage my newest test score as an update to the waitlist

Got it. And you were waitlisted with an interview?
Hi everyone, In case you're interested in learning more about UNC Kenan-Flagler, I had the chance to interview their Dean of their Business School. Sharing in case it's of interest and helpful.

I’m curious about what happens to the R2 WL candidates who weren’t interviewed in R2 but got an interview for R3. Are we automatically waitlisted again and follow the advice above or are we considered R3 applicants and receive a yes/no decision? My interviewer had no idea I was waitlisted in R2, she thought I was a R3 applicant.

jerubbel I think you were considered as a Round 3 applicant. You can expect a decision by the Round 3 deadline along with other Round 3 applicants. I don’t think you will be automatically waitlisted again. Good luck for the decision :)
