Hello everyone, my situation has changed since the last time I had posted on this forum. I'm lucky to have received offers from 2 more amazing programs.
Would love to hear the community's thoughts on where I should head.
Profile in brief:25 year old indian male. Work experience - 2 years at Deloitte (international taxation), 2.5 years with my family business.
Post MBA career goals: Consulting
I have 3 great options to choose from:
1. UNC Kenan-Flagler - Admitted with a small merit scholarship (15000$ per year - approximately 20% of tuition). Awarded Dean's Fellowship (30 people out of 280 get selected)
The weather at chapel Hill seem amazing. Being a huge sports fan, I'm sure I'll have a great time at the school because of it's rich sports culture. Strong consulting program and recruitment. Good ties with mbb.
2. Cornell Johnson - Ivy league tag and globally recognized brand name. Immersion program offers semester long training in startegic operations which will be helpful during the internship. Love the idea of spending 2 years in a rural backdrop and firmly believe I will be able to form stronger relationships with classmates because of the immersive nature. Consulting recruitment seems strong with most tier 1/ tier 2 companies recruiting on campus. Waitlisted for scholarships.
3. IESE - Case method seems fascinating. Very diverse and international student body. Strong consulting recruitment. However, not sure about the brand name/ recognition outside of Spain/ Europe. Comparatively a bit cheaper than the US programs cause of the shorter duration (4 months less). Under consideration for scholarships.
Please share your thoughts/advice as soon as possible. Looking to make a final decision within a week.
