A line going downward to the right must have a negative slope.

So we can eliminate A, D & E

Now we see that the line passes through (5,0)

Substitute (x,y)=(5,0) in B & C to see which one holds true

Option B: 3(5)+5(0) = 15 --- TRUE

Option C: 5(5)+3(0) = 15 ---- FALSE

Answer is (B)

Why can't we just solve this from the options, for eg take option B
It is given 3x + 5y = 15, so....
3x = 15, then x=5,5y = 15,then y=3,therefore 5,3
