I’ll probably choose Stern over INSEAD for your case. Having a 2-year program seems to be a much safer choice these days as it allows more time for the economy to ease into recovery, and has lesser adverse impact on your internship and recruitment opportunities.

Lower cost for INSEAD does not suffice to be a merit here as what you’ve wrote since you’re getting full ride at Stern. Be sure to aim for dorm living at Stern and you could save tons of money and pretty much enjoy 2 years of New York living.

Also do evaluate the differences between the two programs (eg 3rd language requirement for INSEAD) and locations (NY city vs Fontainebleau suburb; ease of getting post-grad work visa, etc)

just two things to note:

1. INSEAD is not more prestigeous than NYU in the USA. very few people know what INSEAD is
2. how is INSEAD cheaper than NYU if you're getting a full scholarship at NYU? doesn't add up

I would lean towards Stern, firstly because of the scholarship. I don't think paying for full tuition at INSEAD plus the living cost of living in France would be cheaper than two-year living cost in NYC. In terms of prestige, I would say it is pretty similar, in which Stern would have a better reputation in Investment Banking sector and INSEAD would be in consulting. So I feel your post MBA career goal might play a major role in your decision. Also, if you are international student, getting a job in the US would be easier than in Europe. Plus the opportunity for internship serves as a good platform for a career pivot.

Anyway good luck on your decision. :)

Congrats for the prestige offers!
I come from a worst-case scenario. Imagine that you don't get a job in either US or Europe (who knows what immigration policies they will have). With Stern's scholarship you will lose less. So I go for Stern.
