Hello Guys!
I have started applying to Tier-1 B-schools in USA for their MBA programs recently, I have 2 years of full-time work experience as a Senior Auditor with a
Big4 and as well as a startup firm which runs into supply chain management solutions. With a
GMAT of 770 and with a
CGPA of 3.74/4 from a
top 5 Commerce college (background in International business and Finance) in India and with few research projects and certifications like
CPA, CMA, CFA L1 cleared will it be a better chance to crack into a top tier-1 or a tier-2 MBA school in US? and with few extra curricular like being a National athlete and volunteering in Social & Charity organisations.
Reasons to choose MBA -
# As am planning to expand my entrepreneurial venture further, am stuck with various questions and problems like how to face them and so on. Most of the people who work in the related industries have mentioned/suggested me to take up a MBA which can help me network further and to have a better clarity of what I want to do further with my own idea or to resort to a next better solution.
Post MBA Goals - Work on my supply chain idea further to expand its links and services.
Q1. Will I be able to get into a Tier-1 MBA school in USA? and will I be able to get any scholarships?
Q2. If not Tier-1 will Tier-2 B-schools have a better career outgrowth, or if I insist to go for a job in a similar supply chain/Finance industry is it better?
Q3. If not USA at all - Which other B-schools outside US do I need to target, as ROI matters a lot!
Q4. Can I choose Australia (Melbourne, AGSM) or Canada (Rotman)? how well are they for Indian students with similar backgrounds?
