Wow based on what you've just written I have no concerns about you for the interview. You seem to be very articulate with good strategic thinking skills.
On the grades, bring it up if there is an organic opportunity to do so. If they ask walk me through your resume or tell me about yourself, that would be one
So, you did not write about it in the optional essay? I often use those as a way to deepen the personal connection with the readers; help them understand your depth of character by way of the adversity you have faced.
Ivey is great, I am a raving fanatic about case method - but you do realize a one year program excludes you from the 3 year work visa, right?

Unfortunately Ivey did not allow for an optional essay unlike Schulich and some others. They allowed me one essay concerning my goals and another on a decision I had made in the past. I could have mentioned it in the scholarship section but thought it would be more relevant to have a positive, forward-looking essay for that one. I'll prepare to discuss it then during the interview.
If I understand correctly, I can still get a 1 year work visa following a 1 year program! Hopefully, my employer can endorse me for an extended visa once I am working, if I am not being naive about it.
