I am an international student from India with an admit from Kelley and UNC . I got a scholarship from Kelley(50K) but nothing from UNC. Do I forgo my scholarship at Kelley to attend the higher-ranked and better-located UNC? My core interest is in Marketing

From my POV, these are all lower 20+ ranking schools so it does not matter. Post-employment is the biggest priority and many people mentioned that UNC with its better location would be better in the long run.

Looking forward to the experts in the forum

Thanks
RRJ12

Hello RRJ12,

Congratulations on two very fine admits.

Marketing is a strength at Kelley and with the scholarship in hand, you should go ahead with the same.

All the best!

My vote goes to Kelley. In the end, it's a personal choice but if I was sure I wanted to go for Marketing, with the two offers, I'd go with Kelley.

I recently wrote about my experience at Kelley @ https://gmatclub.com/forum/kelley-vs-un ... 79647.html
Hope this helps, and do reach out in case you want to talk.

Congratz!

I'd pick Kelley for Tech/ marketing/ Consulting and UNC for the rest or genetic finance jobs.

UNC is higher in ranks, but their job reports shows that they only send 34% to tech and consulting combined; most other top 30 schools have 50~60% of their students going into tech and consulting combined.
