If you're like me, you didn't get a call but received an email saying the status changed on your application and to accept/reject your place on the waitlist. It SEEMS there are some changes in the WL game than years past: in the letter it didn't tell us not to contact them. Rather, it told us to wait until mid-Jan for our WL Manager (now abbrev WM) contact info to be released. I assume we won't need to do anything until then. "When will I receive an update regarding my application status? The Admissions Committee will be rendering admit and deny decisions on a rolling basis between January and August. Are you all reaching out to your waitlist managers after the april update? Is it something that should be done? or should we just wait?

my WL mgr told me Between now and 23rd may we might hear an update on our WListed status

Thanks...does that include R1 applications as well? I know there is an update for R2 applications on May 21st

I hope so. Tuck chucked out a bunch of waitlisters today saying that the class is full (and I am one among them). This years waitlist movements are the slowest I have seen in the forum

More people were added to the waitlist today from R3 (Welcome to those people). I think it was mentioned earlier in this thread, but it doesn't make sense from my point of view to be increasing the size of the waitlist at this point in the game since there have been no acceptances or dings to offset the increase. Maybe I am missing something.

OK, maybe they are trying to again make an "awfully beautiful waitlist pool," as the dean or some body from Kellogg called last year..

Ya, waitlist R3, only know one other person added to it in r3. They must anticipate having some spaces or they wouldn't add r3's to the waitlist. Maybe they're thinking about increasing the class side. Wishful thinking! Posted from my mobile device
