Has anyone spoken to their WL managers recently? From the looks of it hardly anyone has been let in off of the WL. For that matter, there haven't been a lot of dings either. I'm sure there will be significant movement at some point. Anyone know when this might be? After R3 deposits?

I was wondering the same thing. Was hoping someone's mention that there would be a lot of decisions made this week would include admittances but so far its looking like only dings :?

Thank you for reconfirming your interest in the 2 Year MBA Program. We will be revisiting your application between now and June 24, 2014. We will inform you once a decision has been made on your candidacy.

Spoke with my WL manager today. Sounds like there's no set timeline for making decisions. "It just depends on what the class does." Things could move tomorrow, two months from now, or never, it just depends if people who have already enrolled leave for whatever reason or if Round 3 accepted people go elsewhere. No word on whether there are still spots blatantly open but I got the impression there weren't.

You might see some movement around the R3 deposit date. After that, it's a crapshoot. I was still on the WL last year in mid July after I turned down their offer to take a spot in the p/t program.

Hi brandon,

Did you apply to the part time program while your application for fulltime was on a waitlist?

Also, are you now in the part time program? How is it coming along?

No. I only applied to FT programs. They offered PT admission to several of us on the WL last year. I had also applied R3 to Booth, was WL'ed, and ultimately accepted. That's where I am now.

Thats awesome! I wish Kellogg would have offered me a PT this time, would have gladly taken it. Now it has to be a whole new app

By the way, twice waitlisted and then rejected already. Does it make any sense to apply to kellogg the third time.

Are you guys sending any further update letters? I am not sure what significant update could happen in one month. This wait is killing me... :(

I have already started focusing on my reapplication. Makes little sense to be optimistic at this point.

Doesn't seem like!
Round 3 deposits were due yesterday so maybe some movement next week when they have the total number enrolled

I got an e-mail from the Office of Admissions asking me if for my availability this Monday to talk with Dean Kate Smith. I'm taking that as a positive sign, and perhaps most importantly, to everyone else on the waitlist - don't lose hope, there is still some movement on the WL.

That being said, does any one have any pointers on preparing for this call? I'm uncertain on what questions she might ask, maybe about some information in my essays? Any input would be great

easy2type, are you local to Chicago? I received the same email, but I wondered if the Dean might ask if I am interested in the part-time program since I already live near the city.

And, good luck on Monday! Seems like there is hope after all! :)
