If you're like me, you didn't get a call but received an email saying the status changed on your application and to accept/reject your place on the waitlist. It SEEMS there are some changes in the WL game than years past: in the letter it didn't tell us not to contact them. Rather, it told us to wait until mid-Jan for our WL Manager (now abbrev WM) contact info to be released. I assume we won't need to do anything until then. "When will I receive an update regarding my application status? The Admissions Committee will be rendering admit and deny decisions on a rolling basis between January and August. Has anyone spoken to their WL managers recently? From the looks of it hardly anyone has been let in off of the WL. For that matter, there haven't been a lot of dings either. I'm sure there will be significant movement at some point. Anyone know when this might be? After R3 deposits? Posted from my mobile device

I was wondering the same thing. Was hoping someone's mention that there would be a lot of decisions made this week would include admittances but so far its looking like only dings

Spoke with my WL manager today. Sounds like there's no set timeline for making decisions. "It just depends on what the class does." Things could move tomorrow, two months from now, or never, it just depends if people who have already enrolled leave for whatever reason or if Round 3 accepted people go elsewhere. No word on whether there are still spots blatantly open but I got the impression there weren't.

You might see some movement around the R3 deposit date. After that, it's a crapshoot. I was still on the WL last year in mid July after I turned down their offer to take a spot in the p/t program.

No. I only applied to FT programs. They offered PT admission to several of us on the WL last year. I had also applied R3 to Booth, was WL'ed, and ultimately accepted. That's where I am now.
