wow.. got a email from UNC KF - Earlier today (just a few moments ago!), we erroneously sent you an email welcoming you to the class of 2016 here at UNC Kenan-Flagler. You are in our database as an applicant in the 2013-2014 year, but your application has not yet been evaluated by the Admissions Committee.

are they sending erroneous decisions ?? strange .

I got the same e-mail, but the thing is that I never got the erroneous e-mail saying that I was accepted to begin with so I can't wait to see how this pans out. :-D

That error email was titled "Meet More UNC Kenan-Flagler Students...Starting This Friday!" in the email the first line said "As a recently admitted applicant to the Class of 2016, we invite you to join some of your future classmates for during Winter Break for MBA Cafes".

This email was sent to me even though I have not submitted my application. I am sure the adcom team is working overtime tonight dealing with these issues.

Same with me. I was a little confused when I saw the mail as I am R2 applicant yet to complete the interview!

R1 admit+fellowship, I would say go for the adcom. I was interviewed by an extremely friendly adcom member on Skype, and we had a gr8 chat for half an hour.

First off, congratulations!

Second, who was your interviewer and did your notification email come from your interviewer or someone else?

First when you login to the app status, where the decision letter is, a new fellowship decision is there.
that decision only say whether or not you got it , without more info.
Later the same day Admission sent an e-mail with exact info.

My app status still has the link to my decision letter....no fellowship link.

Are fellowships given out on a rolling basis or should I count myself out at this point?

I have the same question as AFMan, no link to anything regarding fellowship. If we don't receive one will there eventually be a link saying that or will we just receive anything?

Hey guys, wanted your input. Due to some unforeseen circumstances. It looks like I won't be able to interview before the January 24th deadline for Round 2. I have already submitted my application. The only option that I see is that I will have to have my application pushed back till Round 3 and schedule an interview accordingly. Do you guys know of any other options?

Yes, definitely do that. Adcom guys are pretty understanding, maybe they can suggest a better solution enabling you to be considered in R2 itself.

Thanks! and sorry for the ding. I know - This is my second year applying Tuck.
But that's a real problem now. Taking a huge loan to go to the great Tuck, or take the full ride from the also great Kenan Flagler.

done with the interview... now its just a long wait..... :rotate

it went somewhat like this:
1. walk me thru ur resume
2. what are your 3 major strengths (i could think of only 2)
3. what are your career goals
4. what was your most meaningful leadership experience
5. have u worked in teams, describe experience
6. what are your hobbies
7. how do u plan to multi-task academics with extra-curricular activities
8. why MBA
9. why KFBS
10. do you want to ask me something (i asked 2-3 ques)
finally I asked her about herself (as she had just mentioned her name at the beginning and started off with the interview)
it lasted for about 35 minutes total
