Yeah, conducted by Katie Dunn. Looking at the results of R1 applicants, if one gets interviewed by John, he/she has a greater probability to get an admit. However, I saw few people who were interviewed by Katie Dunn too get an admit. But again, the people who reported admits are a small sample from the big pool so cannot really rely too much too.

I don't believe they do...but if I remember correctly, you are supposed to address any outstanding issues in one of the essays. I personally wouldn't recommend omitting something important and having an issue to deal with later. They are very reasonable people and likely will understand whatever issue comes up as long as you are honest about it.
