Ha ha ha. So that's your secret to the two admits? ;) May be I should start saying that too :)

Thanks,

Hi guys,

I had my interview scheduled on March 5th. Reading the forum, I am getting worried that my interview might be too late. Would this affect my chance of getting admit and prob. fellowship? Thanks a bunch.

Hey,

Why would you think that? What exactly did you read in the forum? The deadlines are there for a reason. I don't think even the person who is giving the interview on the last possible date for Round3 has any disadvantage. You are giving the interview twelve days before the decision notification date. I think that is ample time for the adcom to evaluate your interview report.

Thanks,
Prodizy

Thanks Prodizy. I guess I have been reading multiple forums and seeing tons of admit makes me even more anxious.

Are the fellowship decisions communicated in the admissions packet or will there be an update on the online application portal?

Sorry, but in this case I don't think so...
Maybe you should reach the admissions office, let them know about your other scholarship and politely ask to be reconsidered.

Leave it, Sonny boy. Go to Olin or fork some huge cash and attend UNC. As for me, I may still join Carlson.

Hey, How did you improve your verbal score from 34 to 42? A friend of mine is stuck in verbal. Any tips?

But UNC does not considers Olin as a competitor.... i am afraid that they will politely ask me to join Olin and I would be more heartbroken

Well, I think you have nothing to lose. They are not going to remove your acceptance because you are trying to negotiate. You'll never know until you try.
