Does anyone know when school starts?

Any fellow international applicants? Their requirements are quite unclear to me. Should we be doing degree processes (the one that's done by 3rd party), official diploma as well as financial support prior to being actually accepted into the program? Will there be time for us to submit after the deadline?

Northern cal resident reporting in. Received my packet today and was excited to see that a fellowship letter was included.

I don't know if this is the right chat thread. But my friend got shortlisted. What can be done to push her WL into admit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would be submitting my application in a couple of days. I just wanted to know is it fine if our official GMAT ,TOEFL scores and transcripts reach the university after the deadline (i.e. 15th April)

You might want to email them to check. But I think it is fine

I think they can review your application and make a decision with the information that you entered on the application, but cannot make an official decision without these. Should be fine even if they come after the 15th of April, as long as it's not past the decision date.

I called regarding "Financial Support" and "Degree Processing" for International Students, and they can't extend an official offer unless these are received, but you will be given one month to submit these when they require of it from you. As far as what's required, the lady on the phone just told me that transcripts need to be mailed in.

Congratulations!! Did you do anything to change the status actively? As in- work on your profile, email them etc?

if admit weekend is 4/24-4/26, what happens with round 3 admits? do they get a separate admit weekend?

They don't have admitted students weekend for Round 3 admits. You either get in and attend the one in April or get to meet your classmates when classes start. That's just the way the cookie crumbles, as the saying goes!

Congrats and see you all at admit weekend! To get off the waitlist, it's best to just provide updates on your professional status or new things you are doing without pestering too much. Be patient and you'll be surprised at the number of people who get off towards the beginning of summer.

Starting in Fall 2015, the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business will offer an online MBA program with a curriculum designed specifically for the online learning environment, the school announced last week. The program focuses on emerging online business topics such as internet analytics, social media, virtual teams, and entrepreneurial thinking.

The 21-month program, which has a tuition of $88,502, will provide students with a foundation in all core areas of business, and is grounded in analytics and communications from beginning to end. Led by members of the USC Marshall faculty, online coursework will be conducted primarily in an asynchronous format, with weekly synchronous seminars conducted by faculty via webcam and a one-time, one-week on-campus event. This format offers students a flexible learning experience that features real-time interaction with faculty as well as educational content that can be viewed at any time.

The program will incorporate live action cases, interactive exercises and virtual teams. Students will have the ability to take classes in online programs at other USC schools and enroll in additional online courses from Marshall MS programs in entrepreneurship, marketing and global supply chain management. The curriculum was created specifically for the program, rather than just taking traditional in-classroom content and putting it online.

“The new online MBA will allow students from around the world, regardless of time zone and location, the opportunity to join the Marshall Trojan Family and benefit from a world-class MBA degree,” says James G. Ellis, Marshall dean.

USC Marshall has a strong record of developing successful online programs, including a Master of Business Taxation and a Master of Global Supply Chain Management. The school has invested in considerable infrastructure to develop online learning programs, recently training and supporting faculty and developing a dedicated instructional team and studio to build out the online MBA program curriculum.
