Hey mo2men - it's hard to tell how Ross-LA is perceived among employers given there's little info on it and the entire Ross program's reporting (ESP employment) is reported as one big umbrella. Ross seems to be highly recruited by consulting firms as well as tech. The students were a cut above and this is the 6th year.

Ross gives access to Ann Arbor, for instance classs can be made up in MI and vice versa. Best part is professors fly in and stay overnight and dine and hang with students. Being in hotel is sort of cool for bonding.

I worry about perception but on the other hand... Ross is Ross.

No doubt that Ross is Ross and feeder to consulting firms. But you need to have some conversation with career office about employability. In Ross case, I would get more connections with alumni. Then, sufficient info that I get will help me in decision making. You do not need to spend time assuming it is like full time program. Clearly, I would support Ross over Marshal in terms of your goal.

This is the Ross EMBA program in la. EMBA is a fraction of on campus recruitment compared to FT programs.

Go with Marshall.

I was in a similar situation beginning of this year.
I was admitted to UCLA Anderson and Michigan Ross la.
Michigan Ross in general has a higher ranking and reputation.
However, I chose Anderson over Ross because of two reasons.
1. Anderson in a main campus vs Ross in a satellite location.
2. Anderson provides more learning options that I like such as global immersion program.

Point 2 is NOT TRUE!
Ross is one of THE BEST programs when it comes to global immersions. Much better than UCLA.

Well.. I thought the original writer of this posting was talking about Executive MBA not regular MBA and Ross EMBA does not have global immersion program.
