Yeah I'm a bit under stress as I am not from a business background ( sport coach) so I just hope they won't ask me crazy questions...
Even though I have a business background, both my education and professional experience, I had very few industry related questions, maybe two. For me it was very different from my other b-school interviews, and I was caught slightly off-guard. Some unexpected questions I got:
- If your story was published as a book, what would your friends title it?
- What slogan do you live your life by?
- At the end of the interview he asked me if I could change anything I did/said in the interview what would it be
- He also asked me to rate myself as a candidate
My interview lasted just over an hour and in that time he didn't directly ask me to discuss my leadership experience.
Just know yourself and your story (why an MBA, why now, why IE/Madrid, how do you anticipate the MBA helping you in your career), and I'm sure you will do great!
