NUS vs ISB?
For a Marine Engineer Officer at Maersk Line with 3.5 years work ex. Graduated from Indian Maritime Univeristy. GMAT Score - 700.
Concerned about employment prospects in Singapore. Post MBA goal - Shipping/Maritime finance. Also I am concerned about my lack of previous work ex in finance although I have a strong knowledge of the maritime industry through Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers London qualification (with Shipping Finance as an elective).

Hi Buddy,
I'm an NUS alum and have an admit from ISB too. So I believe I'm fairly informed about both programs.
If you're a career switcher, NUS/Singapore isn't the place for you..Having said that NUS MBA program in itself is gr8...And NUS/Singapore is a gr8 place to spend 1-2 years of ur life.
Having said that, I'm not really sure if you can achieve your career goal via ISB either. ISB isn't that strong in finance and maritime isn't that big a story in India/ISB. Moreover, ISB placement process is optimised to give max. benefit to max. people, hence folks looking for niche roles struggle a bit.
