10 yrs spread across IT and the social impact space.
- 4 yrs as Technology Analyst in Infosys
- 1 yr career break
- 4 yrs in the social impact space - Worked with leading NGOs as a volunteer and in various leadership roles and managed multiple teams (30-36 member teams and 400 volunteers). Raised over 200K+ as part of the fundraising initiatives. Worked with a startup non-profit as a founding team member. Also worked with an international non-profit and set up a new initiative for a new and evolving youth program.
- 3 yrs in the fintech space as a Manager of Customer Success and Product Development and managed multiple teams (10-12 member teams). Clients are mainly Banks and NBFCs looking for the digital transformation of their existing systems.

Moreover, since you want to request a GMAT waiver, it’s important for you to understand the criteria and requirements; hence, I suggest you go through our article on How to write successful GMAT waiver request letters?, you will get beneficial insights about all the relevant aspects!
Work experience: Coming to your work experience, ten years of work experience spread across different fields seems quite impressive! Working with global clients, Leading a team in various roles most certainly displays your leadership skills. However, it would be crucial for us to understand the year gap, to help you pitch it positively, and help you be prepared to answer related questions! Additionally, with 10+ years of experience, it would make you a strong candidate for the following Top Executive MBA Programs, designed especially for creating global leaders by providing a degree and international experience at the same time.
ECs: Your ECs, seem pretty generic; I suggest adding any relevant community or volunteering work you have done recently (apart from your job) and briefly stating them. Also, involvement in sports activities or any hobby adds weight to an application. For instance, I suggest you go through our article on Significance of ECAs for MBA Application, to understand the importance of drafting exemplary ECAs essays!
Post-MBA goals: You have much clarity on your Post MBA goals. Furthermore, associating it with social activities never fails to impress the adcoms. I would also like you to convey to the adcoms how an MBA from their school will help you achieve your goals.
Overall you have a robust profile and stand a decent chance at your desired B School. All you need is a bit of guidance to create amazing essays that will convey your whole story on what led you to take a gap and how you utilized it (went on a trip) (wanted to explore yourself) to the AdComs impactfully. Undergrad Information: Bachelors in Financial Markets, 2017 graduate. 6.82/7 GPA
GMAT: I gave the EA instead and score 153 (IR: 12, VA: 10, QR: 11)
Work experience and leadership: I have 4 years of work experience in advertising technology, 8 months as the Business Head of Operations for a startup and setup India's first online pop-up store. received two nominations internationally for a campaign that I managed in my current role of 1 year
Community and others: I have been an active member of Enactus in my graduation, an entrepreneurship cell of my college, been a class rep in final year of graduation and participated in intercollegiate competitions
Post MBA goals: continuing in adtech at a C suite role
Anything else?: NYU granted me a standardised test waiver but I have still submitted an EA score
