Was waitlisted further as well. I do think it is a very pertinent question. I am thinking of doing the same, though I am not sure how much they will honestly be able to do. Sounds like people still on the waitlist from r1 will only get in if someone with a similar profile turns HBS down - ie its more about yield now.

Yes I did. Seems like the answer will come fast (21st of april for most of R1 candidates on the waitlist).

Any hope left at this stage? Doesnt seem like any r1 wlers have heard this week, so I assume we are all about to get dinged tomorrow. In general, judging by clearadmit and gmatclub, and taking into account the inherent limitations of relying on people posting their decisions, it seems like very very few r1 people were admitted off the wlist this year. Frustrating process :/
