Me too.

Unfortunately, based on this thread, am I right to assume the WL is rather large this year?

Those on the R1 list, any advice?

Good luck to all new waitlisters. Stay patient, seems like they are taking their time with the waitlist this year.

Could you please post here the email you get from Eileen later today?

Looks like early April date is for round 1 waitlisters only, and we will join join the round 2 group in the May updates if we get delayed further.

Also for future people - we were expecting to hear back last month, but I think they moved a majority of cases to early April - probably to interview r2 candidates before getting back to us, which does make sense.

Only complaint is that acceptance/waitlist could come at any time during the week, rather than just a set time- very stressful.

Round 1 we assume had around 80-100, with approximately 20-30 acceptances going out (oh which a small fraction went out in Feb)

Round 2 might be slightly lower odds unfortunately, since it's later in the process.

On the waitlist. I unfortunately don't really have much time to wait, though, so that's really frustrating.

Just follow the communications from HBS.

Most of us were put on the WL in r1 and are supposed to hear back this week.

Seems like it won't be today though. No news as far as I am aware.

We were supposed to hear back originally end of Feb, with a "small group", remaining on the waitlist beyond that. As things turned out, 90%+ (in my estimate) of wait listers remained on the waitlist, probably because they wanted to interview round 2 candidates before deciding... Seemed like a last minute change of policy on their end. Hoping this won't happen again

I'm definitely not in the know on the inner workings of the admissions office, but if things are still delayed I'd imagine they're trying to get a view for how the R3 crop looks and gauge a thought of how many they might end up taking after interviews. I'd hate to think they'd keep R1 folks on the WL all the way until the end of R3 decisions.

Communication for R2 waitlisted candidates is supposed to come out end of April, with decisions starting to take place in early May.
