Hi,

Can someone tell me the questions for recommenders this time around?
Please Please!!

Here you go :

Evaluators for all ISB programs can submit their evaluations either online or offline mode. Online evaluation is preferred and requires you to update the current official email ID in your online application form.

Evaluation form for ISB PGP/EEO

Candidates need to submit two professional recommendations for ISB PGP/EEO.

Question 1: Under what circumstances and for how long have you known the applicant? (50 words maximum)

Question 2: Please rate the applicant's achievements when compared to those of his or her peers and mention the reference group with which you are making these comparisons. (100 words maximum)

Question 3: Please describe, in brief, situations where the applicant displayed signs of leadership abilities and team skills. (200 words maximum)

Question 4: Please mention two consistent strengths of the applicant and if possible provide instances where she/he demonstrated these strengths. (200 words maximum)

Question 5: Please indicate two areas where the applicant has shown learning and improvement which would add value to his application to the ISB. (100 words maximum)

Question 6: Please provide any other comments that you consider are relevant to the applicant's admission to the ISB, especially regarding the applicant's career in business/management. (200 words maximum)

Btw please cross check this on their website ....

I think this was last years. Any changes this year?

There is no re-applicant essay this time. Where do I show what has changed in a year to strengthen my overall application?

I have a query on Recommendations. I have shortlisted two of my clients who have been with my home venture since inception.
However I read somewhere that both recommendations from the same place aren't ideal. Should I approach my older supervisors whom I worked with about 8 years back? Will that hold any value?

Please suggest.

hey!
Is anybody else facing problem with recommendation form. My recommender is saying that clicking on save button is leading to submission of recommendation. It is getting reflected as recommendation submitted in my application too.

It's not advisable to get a recommendation from someone who has not seen your work since last 8 years. At the same time getting both recommendations from clients of your home venture too does not sound good. I would advice your get a second recommendation from someone who knows you well and has seen your professional progress in recent years though not necessarily associated with your company.

I am extremely positive that you will achieve that score of 780. No doubt about it.

But, don't you thing Q60 and V60 would be a little difficult !!

abhimahna you too should aim something like this Q60 V60 ;) ;)

Thanks Narenn!

Turns out there is only one recommendation this year for ISB. Solves the problem for me!

I would be applying for IIM A too, your advice will be helpful there.

Thanks again!

Hey , is the intake ratio same for R1 and R2 ? I was thinking to give GMAT and apply with a good application by R2. But if R1 has more chance then thinking to take GMAT in September itself and then work on application. Any thoughts?

Hi Guys, I have a query.

I am from India and I am applying for ISB. Do I need a TOEFL/ IELTS score to apply? Or is it required only for International students?

Thanks in advance.

For ISB you don't require TOEFL/ILETS. Only GMAT/GRE score is required
