For the first wave, they have called people from different cities to Hyderabad. I know a few people from Kolkata and Bhopal who got invited to Hyderabad. And, a few more who are based out of Hyderabad.

Congrats everyone who got the calls!!

looks like the high scorers have been shortlisted for the inaugural interviews!!

Way to go!

Meanwhile...extreme anxiety here!!!

Not necessarily unless you are calling 680+ a high score. I know 4 people (680,690,710,720) who have their interviews on Saturday and Sunday at Hyderabad. Two based out of Kolkata and the other two based out of Hyderabad.

yeap I agree, Its location wise and not score-wise. Hyderabad invites have been rolled out as of now, in line with the schedule of Hyderabad slot being the first.

Let us assume, 710 ers will get a call in a week !!
We should just focus on the interview practice, fingers crossed!!

Yeah I guess so. Anyone got any idea how a Skype interview is gonna be like . Are they going to grill more or is it going to be relatively easy ?

Also , if anyone would like to exchange applications and start asking quizzing each other to prepare for the interview let me know . I need a partner in interview preparation.

I just realised, I misplaced one letter in a 4 letter acronym (although I wrote the correct full form) mentioned in my essay. How likely is that to be a problem in getting an interview invite?

Unless it's a very famous acronym, I don't think it should be an issue. However, in one of the webinars, an adcom member specifically said - "no grammatical errors, it shows us that you are not serious"...

But acronym is ok in my opinion, since you wrote the full form as well.

I'd be highly surprised if they reject your application JUST for that reason. Then again, there's no way to know. Personally, I think the adcoms understand that these things happen. Don't worry about it!

Guys, I don't think you'll know before next week Monday, they won't tell you before 5 days from the interview date.

Yes, some calls went out for Hyd from Nov 1 onwards. Lead time before the actual interview was 4-5 days in most cases.
