Hello everyone,
I am from Delhi, India. I took my GMAT in Oct 2016 and scored a miserable 610 (Q47, V27). Even though i was scoring around 650-660 in my mocks, the exam got the better of me and i was just lost on that day.
I started with my preparation again 6 weeks back. I had initially taken e-gmat verbal course, practised from OG 10, OG 16 and OG VR and in total took 8 mocks.
This time in addition to that, i did all Magoosh questions and OG16.
In past 7 days i have taken 5 mocks. (2 veritas and 3 GMATPrep). I scored. 680, 680, 660, 680, 650. Quant is anywhere between 48-49 but verbal is from 31-35.
I am targetting a 730 minimum for a top 15 US B school. I got my profile evaluated and my consultant tells me, if i can get a 730, i have a good chance at Tuck.
After that mock performance, i think I think I am stuck. I am not sure what is going wrong and I finally think i need one on one profession help.
I need to take my GMAT in a month's time as I need to apply to R1 as well.
Can someone suggest me few good GMAT professionals, whom i can get in touch with.
Any help and suggestion will be great. I am very stressed out right now.

Hi nukedeal,
To start, you should STOP taking CATs. There's a reason why you scored roughly the same on each of your last 5 CATs (and taking any more CATs so soon would likely lead to the same overall results). A CAT is really a 'measuring device' - when used correctly, it will give you a realistic score and help define your strengths and weaknesses, but it will NOT help you to fix any of those weaknesses. To raise your scores, you have to put in the necessary review, practice and repetitions. The CAT will show you whether your studies are helping you to improve or not. As such, you really shouldn't take more than 1 FULL CAT per week.
With a month of consistent, guided study, you could potentially make some big improvements to how you handle the Verbal section. Before we discuss that point though, I have a few questions about this recent set of CATs that you took:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take them at home?
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as when you plan to take your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?

Many thanks for replying.
I think you very correct that I should stop taking CATs for now, as I am not giving myself enough chance to improve and see the improvement. Probably I am pressed agaist time and therefore looked over this very rational point.
