Hello Accepted Team

Yes, Another Indian Male *taddummm*

Please evaluate my profile:

I will complete 5 years work-experience next year by Fall 2015.
GPA of 3.3/4.0 , GMAT : 700

Work Experience:

My career has revolved around delivering clean energy projects in South Asian towns/villages - projects related to development of the community through Solar/Wind. The role has been Sales+business development and I work mostly with governments, investors and entrepreneurs in India/Africa/Bangladesh/Dhaka. In the first company (American Semiconductor Giant) , I worked with leading clean energy companies under Govt's Renewable Energy Projects. This year, I am working with a very successful US Entrepreneur (known guy) to start India operations of his CleanTech company as its South Asia Head. I spend 40-50% of my time in remotest of towns setting up solar :D )

I started my own NGO in 2011 , went well for 1.5 years but things didn't work-out and it failed.

I took expeditions to the Antarctica and the Arctic (in 2012 and 2013 respectively) on a renewable energy expedition. Came back delivered talks at multiple events.

I am currently the worldwide Fundraising Manager for my Alma Mater. I take up projects , manage team -leads to raise money -order of 500k USD- to give back to my Alma Mater.

Also, I have been brand ambassador for a well known drink manufacturer, appeared in interviews and promotions.

My Target Schools: Yale, Tuck, McCombs, ISB , HEC Paris, NUS, Haas-Berkeley

Please evaluate!!!

P.S. This was my third GMAT Attempt : 660->700->700 (Maybe i have peaked at 700? , Would you suggest me taking it again?)

My comments below do factor in your -- tadumm -- being in the over-represented Indian group. Though your role and sector differentiate you within that group. I’d consider Yale, Haas, and Tuck very high reaches – perhaps just apply to one of them as your highest reach. The other programs are a good range of reasonable reaches of varying degree. HEC Paris would be closer to on-par, I believe.

As for the GMAT – adcoms look askance at more than 3 tests, and so it’s only worth retaking if you are certain you can score much higher – say 740+, which be enough to outweigh the concern.
