Hi sad_general,

I think you're good to go with 720 and 7.5.

As far as GPA is concerned, what’s more important (besides the undergrad institution, which is not an issue in your case) is where you finished in the class – top 10%, top 20%.... The absolute number alone doesn’t say much.

I think you're good to go with 720 and 7.5.

As far as GPA is concerned, what’s more important (besides the undergrad institution, which is not an issue in your case) is where you finished in the class – top 10%, top 20%.... The absolute number alone doesn’t say much.

As far as my GPA is concerned, I am not in the top 10%. I was more an average student while in IIT. However, in ZS, I got promoted earlier than the average curve, and was in the top 5% many times. I have also got awards from senior partners that showed that I have made impact to the company. Apart from this, I founded and set up an NGO in Pune, and have been running it successfully for ~2 years now.
