This is my first profile evaluation request .Can anyone help ?

College : Mechanical engg with 7.77/10 GPA
GMAT :710 Q 49 V 38 AWA 3 IR 3
Work Experience : 40 months
I work as a product development manager in HeroMotocorp, world's largest selling two wheeler company based in India.
Have a diverse experience working with international suppliers from countries prominently Japan, China, Taiwan, Italy , Spain and US.
Have been working in a VA VE project with Mckinsey since the start of my job. Got promoted to the post of Deputy Manager in three years.

Passion : Mountaineering , Motorcycle Touring , Bodybuilding ,Guitar and football.
Summited Mt Stok La... A mountain 20,400 feet tall in the greater Himalayas.
Have taken part in many such climbing and mountaineering expeditions
Event organizer in college
Represent the football team of my company
etc etc

Schools : Although I will send a few application to top schools, Considering my low score I am aiming for:
Kelley
Cox
Ohio
ISB
Smeal
Krannert
Maryland etc

Also, are schools in the range of krannert and Maryland good to join ??

Thanks for caring to respond !!
I wont go overboard with all the talk of being an achiever or a dreamer . I have worked diligently for the past 40 months and I know I have the capabilities
to go further beyond eventually growing into a person who shoulders big responsibilities in the corporate world. If prospects seem right , I wont hesitate in thinking beyond and treading new waters in the form of an entrepreneurial enterprise or something of the same sort. I can write an essay to impress you about the things I could do but honestly, these lines are the sum of my intent of doing an MBA from the colleges I mentioned.

You didn't answer the question. Those aren't goals. Those are wishes. And not even specific ones. Let's try this again - what are your GOALS. What do you want to do, for what kind of a company, in what location, at what stage, etc. Be specific please!

Here you go.....

My ultimate goal is conception of a firm which provides efficient solutions to develop structured and cost efficient product and process . My core interest lies in automotive solutions,spreading to such areas as supply chain and logistics, which are lucrative in underdeveloped markets of the emerging economies. I deal with domestic as well as foreign suppliers from Japan, Taiwan, spain,Germany, Italy and usa and have gained invaluable knowledge working with our American and Italian partners, and the experience tells me that though OEMs and SMEs in developing economies like India are delivering end results , their SOPs are not well established as compared to foreign stalwarts,leading to poor cost and time mangement.
I have attained a profile view of standard processes of domestic and foreign firms through joint selection of suppliers, supplier discussions as the SPOC for R&D , marketing surveys to obtain new product feedback, coordination with international regulatory bodies such as US DOT, ICAT for legal issues and with testing bodies such as ARAI. I have been working with Mckinsey and Co. for three years in B2b VA VE idea implementation program which has provided savings of crores per annum, providing me detailed insight in the pricing model of the suppliers and the ways through which Mckinsey proposes cost optimization.
By doing an MBA froma good college,I can achieve my short tem goal of working in companies like KPMG and Mckinsey while gaining the skill sets and leadership attributes required to lay down the roadmap for my ultimate goal.

Thanks for sharing. So, in the short-term you want to work in consulting in areas such as strategy and operations. But, I'm still a bit unclear as to what your long-term goal is. Are you looking to start a consultancy of your own? Will it be specializing in the automotive industry? Based on your scores and achievements to date, your target schools are aligned for the most part. As far as your short-term goal of joining a consulting firm, these schools give you a good shot given that the likes of Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, and others recruit there. Note that MBB doesn't appear to have a strong presence for recruiting at these schools. Hope this information helps and best of luck this season with your application!
